What is the Newlook Suite?
The Newlook Suite is an integrated set of products that are designed to work together to simplify your IBM i application modernization.
This section gives you a brief outline of the products that make up the Newlook Suite; Newlook Developer, the development tool that is common to all modernization projects and two deployment clients Newlook Server and Newlook Smartclient.
How does Newlook work?
All the products in the Newlook Suite use the Newlook dynamic recognition engine, a contextual pattern-matching tool which analyzes the incoming 5250 (green screen) data stream and converts it, on-the-fly, to a graphical interface, customized to your individual requirements.
Newlook's dynamic recognition engine is the reason Newlook is such a simple, yet powerful, tool for application modernization. The responsive architecture underpinning all the products provides you with the flexibility, speed and agility to modernize both their your current applications and any future changes to your applications.
